Erin Sills

 

Dr. Erin Sills is a professor and director of international programs in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources. Her research focus includes forest-based economies and development, international forest policies, sustainable forest management, land use and deforestation in the tropics, economic evaluation of policies related to invasive species, program assessment with corresponding methods and panel data, and markets for non-timber forest benefits. Dr. Sills has over 60 publications focusing international environmental resources. She previously led international tropical forestry study tours and received the Outstanding Global Engagement Award for all her international achievements.
