Rhonda Sherman

 

Rhonda Sherman is an Extension Specialist in Horticultural Science. She is a leader for campus outreach initiatives for solid waste management through the Cooperative Extension Service. Sherman is an expert in vermicomposting, composting, and recycling, and waste reduction. She organizes NC State’s Vermiculture Conference, the world’s only annual international conference on on large scale commercial vermicomposting. Sherman runs the Compost Learning Lab at NC State’s Lake Wheeler Road Field Laboratory and is a co-founder of the North Carolina Composting Council. She was on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Composting Council and an editor to BioCycle Journal of Composting and Organic Recycling.
