Dr. de los Reyes is a Professor of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering and Associate Faculty of Microbiology. He published over fifty papers on topics relating to water treatment, wastewater and sanitation, including papers on characterizing pit latrines in peri-urban areas, trash removal from pit latrines, and desludging fecal material. Dr. de los Reyes’s lab regularly collaborates with companies, universities, and government entities in Europe, Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Dr. de los Reyes is a University Faculty Scholar and lead for the WaSH Cluster.
