Francis de los Reyes III

Dr. de los Reyes is a Professor of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering and Associate Faculty of Microbiology. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed papers on topics relating to water treatment, wastewater and sanitation. Dr. de los Reyes’s lab regularly collaborates with companies, universities, and government entities in Europe, Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Dr. de los Reyes is a University Faculty Scholar and leads the Global WaSH Cluster.

Degrees: B.S. in Agriculture Engineering from the University of the Philippines-Los Banos, MS in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University, PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Interesting Fact: He is a TED Fellow and his talk on “Sanitation is a Basic Human Right”, was published online at ted.com.
